NSS Units 1, 2 & 3 have conducted 7-Days NSS Special Camp from 30/5/2022 to 5/6/2022 on the theme “Youth for Eco Development and better Environment”.
Inaugural function was held at the Multipurpose Hall of the College at 10am. Smt. O. Chaoba Devi, Principal, Thoubal College, Dr. Kh. Jugindro Singh, Co-ordinator – IQAC and Dr. L. Akendrajit Singh, Associate professor, Dept. of Statistics in the chair as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour respectively. The three units had 50 volunteers each.
Social Services were done in the college campus and adopted villages. Talk Programme by eminent personalities were also conducted during the camps. Cultural programme, group discussions were also conducted. The Camp was concluded on 5th June, 2022 on the day of World Environment Day. Volunteers were planting a number of trees and flowers in the College Campus and adopted villages.
The closing function was attended by Smt. O. Chaoba Devi, Principal Thoubal College and L. Romendro Singh, Associate Professor and former NSS officer attended the closing function as President and chief guest respectively.
